How We Evaluate Offers

Editorial standards · Transparency

AdPerformanceHQ sometimes links to third-party offers, including through affiliate partnerships. This page explains how we think about those links editorially—separate from any business relationship with a network or merchant.

What we evaluate first

  • Relevance — Does the offer match the topic of the guide or comparison? We avoid shoehorning unrelated programs into content purely for payout potential.
  • User value — Would a reasonable reader in this context find the offer helpful, or is it a distraction from the decision they are trying to make?
  • Landing page quality — Are pricing, trial terms, refund policies, and data practices described clearly on the official destination—not only in our summary?
  • Audience fit — Geographic restrictions, industry rules, and experience level (beginner vs. advanced) all affect whether we mention an offer at all.

Compensation and placement

Compensation may influence which offers we feature or where they appear within a piece of content (for example, higher in a list or in a highlighted callout). It does not change our commitment to publishing useful, accurate context: we still explain limitations, alternatives, and what readers should verify on their own.

When multiple products qualify, we may prioritize partnerships that align with reader intent—but we do not claim results we have not measured, and we do not present ads as impartial lab tests unless that testing has actually occurred and is described as such.

Your responsibility

Offers change. Always read the merchant’s or network’s current terms before you purchase, subscribe, or submit personal information. If something looks off, stop and use official support channels.
